Many parents do not understand nor do they appear to be too concerned about their children. Love, understanding and respect are rare ingredients in just too many homes. This is, of course, the opposite of what God would have it be. Parents need to know that children are gifts from God. God has charged parents with the responsibility of molding these gifts into a certain type of personality suitable to Him.
